We are looking for a Technology Enthusiast who thrives on providing outstanding customer service, and has experienced with supporting In-House (Custom Build) Software Products/Applications, and has good experience with SQL Scripting!
Our Client is national private organisation (a software product house) that’s growing from strength to strength, and has made a positive footprint in their industry.
They have recently won more tenders/contract deals, have multiple projects on the go (new and old) and are now seeking more talented IT professionals, this time for a newly created position – a Level 2 Help Desk Support Technician that has some leadership experience and/or is looking to grow their leadership skills to become the 2nd in-charge (2IC) within the support team!

A primary focus of this role is providing remote support for our client's software suite installed at customer sites. Hence your previous experience in supporting In-House (Custom Build) Bespoke Software experience would be highly regarded.
On-site training will be provided on their software suite.
The candidate also needs to have demonstrated skills and understanding of technical networking concepts, Microsoft Operating/Server Systems, and have solid experience with SQL Scripting, as the role will involve utilising diagnostics tools, SQL scripting and reporting to pinpoint inconsistencies within databases.
Your role includes answering escalated Client calls of a technically more complex nature and resolving any escalated Client queries and issues, providing a high level of service in doing so. Hence having strong verbal communication skills is a must!
You will also be involved with escalating Client queries, software suggestions as well as identified (or suspected) software defects to 3rd level support resources, as appropriate.
If you have had a background in hospitality (IT or Non-IT) and/or POS (Point-of-Sale) systems experience, that is a bonus.
