Manual Tester | Complex Web Applications | Permanent Position

• Permanent Position available | Up to $90,000 per annum plus super – based on experience.

This Brisbane based well established Software Development Company creates products that are being sold all around the world, including to some of the most recognizable brands and blue chip companies.
 
Their flagship product collects and unifies business data, integrating it into a secure, governed hub and preparing it for expert analysis with BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau and Qlik, delivering value to all business functions and works with an array of apps and data sources, replacing inefficient and inaccurate manual data processing and time-consuming and expensive data warehouse projects.
 
We are seeking the services of an experienced Manual Tester to commence ASAP. The tester will be working on complex web applications in a fast paced Agile environment.
 
With a fantastic work culture, you have the opportunity to work closely with local testers as well as remote manual testers who are responsible for execution of the test cases. This role will also have you working closely with the development and design teams and actively participating in decision-making.
 
This role involves (but not limited to):

• Preparing and developing test cases, test data and other testing assets, and contributing to testing plan
• Identifying, reporting on and any quality-related risks regarding to the product in testing
• Identifying, preparing and manipulating data for testing purposes
• Monitoring the progress of allocated testing tasks and deliverables
• Identify and report on automated UI test failure
• Maintain highly productive relationships with  development and design team and actively participate in decision-making for product releases

 
Note: They have thousands of automated tests in place ranging from unit tests to full integration tests and automated UI tests in Selenium. We’re not looking for basic coverage, rather we’re looking for a thinker who can pick holes in the current coverage.


Essential experience in:

• +3 years software testing experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Team player to work closely with other testers and developers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with web application and SQL server

Desired experience in:

• Exposure and experience in Business intelligent application
• Experience in ETL Testing or Data Warehouse Testing
• Automatic UI testing with Selenium in C# or similar tools
• Exposure to Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools
